Installation instructions
Pendant light assembly
Pendant light assembly instructions apply to all models including Square Pendant Small (SPS), Square Pendant Large (SPL), Wide Pendant Small (WPS), Wide Pendant Large (WPL) and Tall Pendant Medium (TPM). Contents of the package are:
-
- 1 x lampshade (part C)
- 1 x wooden shade holder (part A)
- 1 x bulb
- 1 x lamp holder and cable (length 2 meters)
- 1 x shade ring (part B)
Instructions for Pendant light assembly
- Carefully remove the parts from the package and check that you have received all mentioned components. In case your product is not in order or has been broken during the transportation, please check the instructions here.
- Read and familiarize yourself with the installation instruction document (first part for Pendant lights) before starting to install the components. You might also want to see the FINOM lights assembly videos here: finomlights.com/video/
- Spread the wooden shade holder, inner part (part A in the Pendant instructions) carefully according to the picture 1 and place it around the lamp holder. Rotate the ring (part B in the Pendant instructions), so that it locks the wooden shade holder to the lamp holder (see picture 1).
- Add the LED bulb to the lamp holder (see picture 1).
- Spread the shade (part C in the Pendant instructions) from the middle, just enough to place the wooden shade holder inside the shade. Make sure that the ends of the shade holder go through the holes in the shade (see picture 2).
(NOTE: you might ask help from another person to do this).
- DO the POP: press gently with both hands at the vertical edge of the shade so that the two sheets come together (see picture 3). Do this for the both vertical sides. The FINOM lamp shade will give a smooth “pop” sound when the sheets are pushed together. The sound is normal and the light will not break because of it.
- Attach the light to the ceiling using the cable hook (see picture 4). Ask an electrician to attach Wago-type wire connectors to the ceiling wires or use the electric plug (option)
(NOTE: it’s important to have corresponding wire types/colors in the light to match the ceiling wires (normally brown, black/blue and yellow/green)).
- Check that the height of the light matches your requirements, adjust if necessary. Then lift up the plastic cover over the wire connector or the plug.
- Check that everything is ok: shade/lamp holder, shade ring, shade, bulb and cable. When ok, the light is now ready to use!

Floor lights installation
Floor lights installation instructions apply to all models including Square Floor Small (SFS), Square Floor Large (SFL), Wide Floor Small (WFS) and Wide Floor Large (WFL). Contents of the package are:
-
- 1 x lampshade (part J)
- 1 x wooden shade holder (part C)
- 1 x bulb (part E)
- 1 x lamp holder and cable (length 4.5 meters) with foot switch (part A)
- 2 x screws (4 pieces, 2 for each screws, part D)
- 1 x shade ring (part B)
- 1 x wooden axis (part F)
- 1 x wooden login pin (nail shape, part G)
- 3 x wooden legs (parts H and I)
Instructions for Floor lights assembly
- Carefully remove the parts from the package and check that you have received all mentioned components. In case your product is not in order or has been broken during the transportation please check the instructions here.
- Read and familiarize yourself with the installation instruction document (later part for Floor lights) before starting to install the components. You might also want to see the FINOM lights assembly videos here: finomlights.com/video/
- Spread the wooden shade holder, inner part (part C in the Floor lights instructions) carefully according to the picture 1 and place it around the lamp holder (part A in the Floor lights instructions). Rotate the ring (part B in the Floor lights instructions), so that it locks the wooden shade holder to the lamp holder (picture 2 and 3).
- Remove screws (parts D) from the package, open them and attach them through the holes in the wooden shade holder (see picture 2, the legs of the light will be attached using them).
- Add the LED bulb (part E) to the lamp holder (see picture 2).
- Attach axis (part F) to the separate leg (part H). Lock the axis into its place and leg by inserting locking pin (part G) through both the leg and the plug (see picture 4).
- Carefully open the opening legs (other two joined legs, part I) according to the picture 5 in the instructions. In the legs (part I) there is a slot where the axis will slide up to the hole in the leg part H. Now slide up the part H (single leg part) into holes of the part I (opening legs part) so that it snaps on its right place (see picture 5).
(NOTE: certain amount of force is need in doing this, be careful not to widen up the legs too much).
Now the tripod leg is ready for the inner part of the lamp (see picture 6).
(NOTE: be careful, you must hold up the tripod, ask help from another person in doing this).
- Next attach the shade’s inner part, which you assembled earlier in step 3-5, into the grooves of the top parts of the tripod legs. The shade holder goes into the grooves and the screws go into the holes (see picture 6).
(NOTE: it is very important to tighten the screws up after installation so that the inner part does not fall out of the grooves if the light is moved!).
- Open the shade (part J) enough to place the legs and inner part inside to it, so that the ends (tips) of the shade holder (see picture 7 point K on the shade holder) go through the holes in the shade.
- DO the POP (see picture 8): press gently with both hands at the vertical edge of the shade so that the two sheets come together. Do this for the both vertical sides. The FINOM lamp shade will give a smooth “pop” sound when the sheets are pushed together.
(NOTE: The sound is normal and the light will not break because of it).
- Check that everything is ok: shade/lamp holder, shade ring, shade, bulb and cable. When ok, the light is now ready to use!
